China Unicom in talks with Apple for the launch of iPhone in China
China Unicom has revealed that they are currently in talks with US based tech giant Apple to bring the Apple iPhone to the Chinese market.
No details were however given on the status of their talks with Apple.
Apple has been trying hard to bring the iPhone to the Chinese market which remains the world’s largest telecom market.
China Unicom Chief Executive Chang Xiaobing said in a statement: “We are in talks with many handset suppliers, including Apple.”
Apple has also been in talks with China Mobile but no decisions have been made. Chinese users still have to go for alternative routes to get the iPhones.
