RIM announces Blackberry App World
Research In Motion has announced that the mobile application store for their Blackberry smartphones would be called Blackberry App World.
They are already accepting applications to be offered on this store since sometime now.
Blackberry App World is expected to be launched sometime later this month.
It would provide facilities similar to the Apple App Store for the owners of RIM Blackberry smartphones.
They are not alone mimicking Apple… Google has their Android Market… Nokia and Microsoft are also set to launch their mobile application stores.
