Palm released some more information on Palm Pre smartphone
Palm and Sprint are scheduled to launch the new smartphone Palm Pre sometime this year.
The two companies gave out some information on this new mobile device which would compete with Apple iPhone and Google G1 along with Blackberry devices.
Sprint said that the owners of Pre would be able to subscribe to their “Everything” individual and family plans.
Palm said it again that they aim to launch this phone within the first half of the current year.
Palm added that the phone would feature a user replaceable battery. Apple iPhone does not have this capability.
The company said that they are inviting developers to code casual games for the Pre. They are apparently hoping to mimic the success of the iPhone with casual gamers.
