V-Moda and Scosche confirm they would launch earphones for iPod Shuffle

Apple surprised the market by launching a brand new edition of Apple iPod Shuffle portable media player.

One of the major change in this new edition was the missing controls on the device itself.

Apple has moved the controls to the earphones, a move that has been heavily criticized by the experts.

Reports claim that the device now features a new DRM chip that would require third party manufacturers to pay Apple a fee to make compatible earphones for this device.

V-Moda and Scosche have announced that they would launch compatible earphones in the coming months.

These third party earphones are likely to cost between USD 50-100.
