China Mobile: 607.1 billion sent by subscribers last year
China’s leading mobile service provider China Mobile has revealed that their subscribers sent 607.1 billion SMSs last year.
This number is up by over 100 billion from the previous year.
The company has around 463.92 million subscribers in the Chinese market which is the largest mobile market in the world with around 650 million mobile phone users.
China Mobile added that their subscribers downloaded more than 76 million full music tracks.
They have on offer more than 1 million songs for download.
China Mobile further said that its instant messaging software, Fetion is now the second largest instant messenger in China with around 146.91 million users.
