Palm revenues are down as market waits for Pre
Palm has revealed their latest revenue report and the figures are not looking good.
The revenues for the company are down as the company managed to sell 42 percent fewer smartphones than in the same period last year.
One of the main reasons could be the upcoming launch of the Pre smartphone.
Palm is discarding Palm OS to focus on the new mobile platform named webOS. Palm Pre would be the first device powered by webOS to arrive in the market in the coming months.
This has probably cost them a lot as consumers are no longer buying their existing products on sale in the market today.
Palm had recently announced that their Centro phone will be the last device to run the original Palm OS.
