Intelligent Mechatronic Systems launches iLane
Intelligent Mechatronic Systems has launched a new device named iLane which is designed to be used in cars.
iLane features a synthesized female voice which reads out emails that arrives in the inbox on the user’s smartphone.
It is currently on sale in US and Canada. The developers are planning to launch it in European markets soon.
It is retailing for around $600 and requires the user to pay a $8 monthly subscription.
It connects with the Blackberry smartphones wirelessly to check for emails.
Owners can use a Bluetooth headset to issue voice commands. Mails can be replied to or deleted using voice commands.
The device also enables the user to make phone calls simply by calling out the names present on the address book of the devices.
