Apple and AT&T sued for faulty 3G service delivery on the iPhone
Apple is again becoming a target for not delivering on the promises made by them in the advertisements of the iPhone 3G.
Both Apple and AT&T have been sued in the United States District Court, District of New Jersey by Damone Dickerson who is claiming that Apple misrepresented the speed, strength and performance of the 3G network.
Dickerson claims that he failed to enjoy the 3G connectivity as promised and showcased by the company in their advertisements.
He said that most of the time he receives no 3G connectivity at all.
AT&T and Apple are charged with Negligence, Breach of Express Warranty, Breach of Implied Warranty of Merchantability, Unjust Enrichment, Negligent Misrepresentation, Violation of the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act and Other Similar State Statutes, and Breach of Contract.
This is however not the first lawsuit related to poor 3G service filed against Apple. They are fighting similar cases in other US districts as well.
