Lenovo is now offering Intel Nehalem powered desktops

China based personal computer maker Lenovo has now announced their workstations based on Intel Nehalem range of dual/quad core processors.

They are only the second manufacturer to offer products powered by these new chips after Apple.

Lenovo announced ThinkStation D20 and ThinkStation S20.

These two are powered with Intel’s upcoming Xeon 5500 and 3500 series dual-core and quad-core chips.

Lenovo said that these new workstations are aimed at customers who need high performance computing in their desktop machines.

These are suitable for digital content creators, game developers and engineers.

They are offering these workstations with several OS options including Windows Vista Business and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
