Google retiring AdSense video units

Google has revealed that they are retiring their AdSense video units feature.

These ads enabled the user to showcase YouTube content along with relevant ads on their web pages.

Google said that these ads did not perform as well as they had expected so they are discontinuing this product feature.

They are now advising the users of these ad units to replace them with other advertising.

They would stop delivering the ads at the end of April. Users would get paid for them till that time.

After April, these ad units would display regular YouTube content without the advertisements and no payments would be made on clicks.
