Disney, ABC, ESPN content coming to YouTube

Google has signed a deal with Walt Disney related to bringing their content to the video sharing service YouTube.

YouTube would now get content from Walt Disney services like ABC Entertainment, ABC News, ABC Family, SOAPnet, and ESPN.

The deal allows for short duration videos and the two companies would share the revenues generated from the delivery.

Google incidentally already has a similar arrangement in place with CBS. They are however locked in a legal battle with Viacom over user videos featuring their content.

The two companies said that ESPN channel would be launched on YouTube next month. Other channels would be introduced in May.
