Google Music Download service in China expanded
Google has expanded their music download service that is available only in the China market.
They are now offering songs from all the four major music labels based in the US market.
This is likely to help the company gain in this market where they compete against the market leader Baidu.
The songs are offered for free.
A similar service offered by Baidu is hugely popular in this market.
Google offers the music supported with revenues generated through advertising.
Market analyst David Wolf spoke about the new developments: “They’re really looking to become not just a portal, but kind of an all-purpose cloud for people who want their services online.”
