Quickplay to bring television programming on Blackberry
Quickplay Media has announced that they are planning to offering television programming to the owners of Blackberry smartphones.
They would provide this PrimeTime2Go service through the just launched Blackberry App World.
They would charge USD 8 a month for this new service.
The company has already signed deals with media companies including NBC, CBS and MTV.
This new service would be initially available on Blackberry Bold and the Blackberry Curve 8900 smartphone models.
Both of these devices have Wi-Fi capabilities which would be required for the broadcasting.
