Samsung Mondi: Wimax enabled mobile device
South Korean tech giant Samsung has announced a new mobile device.
Samsung Mondi is probably the world’s first Wimax-enabled Mobile Internet Device.
It was showcased at the International CTIA Wireless conference.
This device has been designed for use on the Clear mobile Wimax network from Clearwire.
Samsung did not reveal any pricing details.
It is expected to go on sale soon at Best Buy and Clear stores.
Samsung said that the device runs Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system.
It also has compatibility with Wi-Fi networks along with support for GPS and Bluetooth 2.0.
Samsung Mondi also features a decent 3 megapixel camera capable of recording videos.
