AT&T offers a USD 50 netbook with a subscription
US based telecom giant AT&T is now offering a netbook model for just USD 50 along with a service contract.
This offer is available in two markets, Atlanta and Philadelphia.
Interested customers would be required to sign up for a two year long contract just like mobile devices.
The contract itself would start at around USD 60 a month.
AT&T states that this offer is promotional. It is not clear whether it would become expensive in the coming months.
The netbook on offer is the popular Acer Aspire One with an 8.9-inch display, 1GB of memory, and a 160GB hard drive.
