Apple has launched Intel Nehalem powered Xserve servers
Apple had posted some information about these new servers last week on one of their international sites.
They have now officially launched their new updated Xserve servers powered by Intel Nehalem processors.
Apple claims that these new series of servers are more powerful while being more efficient featuring greener design.
The platform also offers flexible storage options to the customers.
Apple further claims that these new range of servers are up to twice as fast as the previous models. They offer more than twice the memory bandwidth, and uses 19 percent less power at idle.
