Porsche Panamera coming to India in October

Porsche Panamera would make its debut in the Indian market later this year.

Porsche has been pretty active with their product launches in India where there is limited demand for expensive sports cars.

The company said that they aim to launch this car for prices between Rs 1.42 Crores and Rs 2.02 Crores.

They are currently scheduled to display this new car at the upcoming Shanghai Motor Show, to be held April 22-24.

Rod Wallace, managing director of Precision Cars India spoke about their plans for India: “We are working on a simultaneous launch of the car in Indian as well as international markets. We are hopeful of welcoming the car in India by late September or early October 2009.”

Three versions would be available for sale in the market at launch time. These would be: Panamera S, Panamera 4S and Panamera Turbo.
