Elan Microelectronics targets Apple with a lawsuit
Apple continues to become a target of patent related lawsuits.
The latest lawsuit has been filed by Elan Microelectronics which claims that Apple is infringing on two of its touchscreen technology patents through their products like MacBook, iPhone and iPod Touch.
The company said in their lawsuit that they own the patents to technologies which enable products to detect the position of finger on a touchscreen.
They have already won a similar lawsuit that was filed against Synaptics.
Elan Microelectronics is seeking an injunction that would prevent Apple from selling the infringing products in the market.
