Acer AspireRevo comes loaded with Nvidia Ion platform
Acer is collaborating with Nvidia to launch a new desktop computer that comes powered with the Nvidia’s Ion platform.
This is the first product of its kind in the market and it is expected to be priced very competitively.
Acer AspireRevo comes loaded with an Intel Atom processor which is essentially designed for netbook models.
It allows Acer to keep the costing of this desktop machine low while providing decent computing power.
Nvidia claims that this new desktop machine uses one-quarter the power of standard desktops and is 10 times faster than comparably priced PCs.
Market experts believe that these desktop models could be sold for prices below USD 300.
