Amazon offering some music at just 29p
Amazon might have increased the prices of some of their music tracks to USD 1.29 to match the updated prices at Apple iTunes but they are getting offensive in the UK market.
Amazon UK is offering some of the popular music files at a discounted pricing of just 29p.
This low pricing is applicable on more than 100 tracks and include titles like Lily Allen’s The Fear and Lady GaGa’s Poker Face.
Amazon did confirm that they have offering most of the music on the store at three prices: 59p, 79p and 99p.
Market analyst Mark Mulligan spoke about this latest move by Amazon: “Until this point Amazon have been something of a sleeping giant, we are now seeing some real grandstanding.”
