If you are planning to try your luck with the Nano lottery, tomorrow is the day when the actual booking process starts.

After years of waiting, Tata would start accepting bookings for Nano car from tomorrow.

The booking process of Nano is quite different from other cars. Potential customers would have to make an upfront payment of a minimum of Rs 95,000 which accounts for majority of the costing of the car.

Market analysts say that Tata has already sold lakhs of forms and most of them are going to be submitted with the company in the coming days.

Tata would initially select one lakh applications for delivering the vehicle at the current fixed price.

Allotment of these cars would be made through a computerized random selection procedure.

Tata is likely to hike the price of the car after that.

Tata Motors is aiming to start delivering the car to the ‘winners’ starting July this year.
