Facebook now has 200 million registered users
Social networking giant Facebook has revealed that they now are home to more than 200 million registered users.
The growth is phenomenal as they have managed to double the registered users in just eight months.
Incidentally, Facebook now has more members than population of countries like Brazil and Japan.
The service was initially open to only students in US colleges but that was changed in 2004. And since then Facebook has seen massive growth.
MySpace was once the leading social networking service. They currently have around 130 million active users.
