Virgin Mobile announces Pink Slip Protection plan
Virgin Mobile USA has announced a new plan for their customers which is aimed at retaining them for the long term while creating goodwill.
The company would launch a new unlimited prepaid calling plan that would come with Pink Slip Protection.
Pink Slip Protection would enable the customer to get three months free service in case he loses his job.
This service would be applicable to Virgin $49.99 Totally Unlimited plan in addition to some other offerings.
Dan Schulman, CEO of Virgin Mobile spoke about this offer: “With the unemployment rate rising, the feat of job loss or salary reductions have made consumers watch every dollar.”

I would be aware of this gimmick. There are requirements for this plan that are not listed here. And i think that if they want to help people out then they should give a break to their loyal customers and not try to attract a new group with a plan that will help a small number of people.
