Buy.com offering unlocked official Apple iPhone 3G!
Apple has never offered unlocked iPhones in the US market.
However, Buy.com is currently offering such a version of the iPhone 3G for USD 800.
This is the 16GB edition of the iPhone 3G and it is capable of receiving updates from Apple.
The device has not been unlocked and it would run on any GSM network.
Buy.com just has few units left in its stock.
This unit looks to be from one of the international markets of Apple where iPhones are sold unlocked.
So these might have documentations in other languages.
