Apple set to offer 20-inch iMac to educational institutions
Apple is set to offer an aluminum 20-inch iMac to educational institutions in the US market.
This means that the 17-inch iMac model is now a part of history.
This model would be available to customers who are authorized to make purchases for their educational institution.
This model would retail for USD 899 and would include a 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 1GB of memory, 160GB hard drive, 8x double-layer SuperDrive in addition to the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics subsystem.
This machine is sadly not available to regular customers or even to students with access to the Apple Store for Education.
