New CinemaView displays to feature Mini DisplayPort
Apple has been the only company offering displays featuring the Mini DisplayPort since quite some time.
Things are changing and more companies are offering LCD Displays with this port which comes in most Apple Macs.
Collins America has announced that they are soon going to offer new CinemaView displays designed for use on the Macs. These would include the Mini DisplayPort.
These monitors are likely to go on sale before September and would sell for $300 to $500.
The company announced three models of sizes: 19, 20.1 and 24-inch.
These would provide maximum resolution of: 1440 x 900 pixels, 1680 x 1050 and 1920 x 1080 respectively.
