YouTube might soon have full length movies from Sony and other studios
TechCrunch has reported that Google has entered deals with several movie studios to bring full length movies to YouTube video sharing service.
The report said that Google has entered into deals with Sony, MGM, CBS, Lionsgate, Starz and the BBC.
YouTube is likely to make a formal announcement in the coming hours.
This revelation comes just days after YouTube announced their Vevo project in collaboration with Universal Music Group.
Vevo would be focused on music videos and would generate revenues through online advertising.
