Honda is all set to launch their Jazz premium hatchback in the Indian market.
This new model is expected to cost at prices starting at Rs. 5.5 lakhs.
Honda Jazz would compete in India with existing models like Skoda Fabia, Tata Indigo, Ford Fusion, and Hyundai Accent.
Maruti Suzuki Ritz and Fiat Grande Punto are also going to join this segment of the market in the coming months.
Honda Jazz in India would be powered with a 1.2-litre intelligent variable valve timing and lift electronic control petrol engine that has been developed specifically for the Indian market.

i was interested to buy two jazz honda one for my self and one for my daughter, but my god honda is taking its own time to launch jazz so iguess i will go ahead and buy i 20 hyundai sorry i will mis jazz but blame ur self for the delay

well , Jazz is nice in small segment cars . It’s so interesting for driving… I would say, people gets more driving pleasure from this car.

Jazz is a great car i have seen it in Singapore..But out here Honda guys campaign smacks of just arrogance..as their dealers just quote atrociosu price for Jazz ranging from 7.2-8.5 lacs (on road Mumbai)..This is ridiculous..Outside India, Jazz sells at approx 20% premium to Swift..Honda has to be in their senses to price this here..

Ya, finally…the wait was over..Honda came out with Jazz…its ridiculous that honda has prized above 7 lakhs for it..Ya, its an amazing car no doubt, but for Indian’s paying 7L for a hatchback car is joke :)…I think Honda shd have prized more sensibly and shd have been abt 6L….7L is way too much..surely, Splash is set to kick Jazz now…no matter how its performance is…

We were patiently waiting for the Honda Jazz to be launched cus my hubby loves the Honda , but HONDA ought to be out of its mind to keep such rocket high price for a hatch back. 7L.Gosh!
Instead we have settled for the i 20 cus it also has the same 1.2 L engine and 90 bhp ( same as Honda )
Cheers to Hundai and Honda..Though you guys rock..but commom get real , this is India and you are launching a mid segment car , not a luxury sedan.

sedan with 1.5 ltr 115bhp 24 % ecxise and 15000 add. excise duty at 8.96 lacs.
hatch with 12 % excise duty with 90 bhp 1.2ltr Rs 8.05 on road after paying about 1.00 lacs lower excise duty.
much lesser features than same model outside india.
they were crying months ago about slowing their rajastan plans due to poor sales and now prices of space shuttle trip for this hatch ride. come on man its too hot to handle this madness . hands off please… i aint mad…………

hi i have been waiting for this car for a long time because first reason is that it is associated with the brand name honda i would like to buy this car cause it’s features are excellent and interior is damn good like no other hatchback car provide but the main minus point is that the car is priced too high to compare the other premium hatchback cars like Hyundaii20, Skoda Fabia. It should be priced between 7 to 7.20 lacs otherwise this would be the biggest flop.

wanted to buy Honda Jazz,but after knowing the price NO,would not want to go for a small car at that price,Honda needs surely to be in senses to have priced it so high!!!

the car is really fantastic,as mentioned in website that the price in india could be 5.5 lakhs.I would prefer this car at this price tag or else go for hyundai i 20.plz confirm abt the price tag of 5.5 in india.then i could luv to buy my dream car.i love honda cars.
