Bob Drebin is the latest high profile Apple employee
Apple has hired the services of Bob Drebin who was previously the chief technology officer of AMD.
He is also credited with the design of the graphic chip that powered the Nintendo GameCube console.
He was also at one time the chief engineer of Silicon Graphics. In addition he has also worked at Pixar.
He designed the GameCube chip while working at ArtX which was later acquired by ATI which itself is now owned by AMD.
He would be working at Apple as a senior director.
