Microsoft rejects claims that they are making Pink branded mobile phone

Wall Street Journal had reported that Microsoft is in talks with Verizon Wireless to launch a Pink branded Smartphone.

Microsoft has now rejected the report by repeating that they are not developing a mobile phone model.

The software giant has already stated this in the past that they have no plans to challenge Apple iPhone.

Microsoft already is the provider of Windows Mobile platform which is used by almost every mobile phone company out there to power smartphones.

A company representative said: “Microsoft is not going into the phone hardware business. Microsoft is not building a Zune-specific phone. We’re deepening our relationships with our hardware partners.”
