HP MediaSmart Server LX195 launched
US based PC maker Hewlett Packard has launched their latest Windows Home server product MediaSmart Server LX195.
This new model is slimmer and better looking compared to the existing models available in the market.
HP said that this is their first such product to be powered with an Intel Atom processor.
Intel Atom is already widely used on netbooks.
HP MediaSmart Server LX195 comes loaded with 1GB of RAM and 640GB of storage on a single hard disk. The price tag is pretty friendly at USD 400.
The product features four USB ports on the back and an Ethernet port.
Since it is targeted at the home customer, RAID support is missing. Software features include support for web based photo sharing services like Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, and Snapfish.
