Boost Mobile facing network delays in SMS transmission

Boost Mobile recently shocked the market by launching a $50 unlimited-calling plan.

The service is operated by Sprint Nextel and the plan turned out to be a major success for the company.

In fact, the company has gained so many new customers that their networks are practically overwhelmed.

Subscribers of this plan are now reporting that they are facing problems with SMS delivery. The messages are delayed by hours at times.

Boost responded: “The popularity of Boost Mobile caught us off guard. It overwhelmed our system.”

The company added that they are working hard to restore the promptness of the service and problems should be fixed in the coming days.
