Google using goats to clear weeds at their campus
US based search engine giant Google has revealed that they are using services of goats from California Grazing to clean up weeds at their Mountain View headquarters.
The aim is to keep the grounds clean and prevent any risks of fire.
Google said that they are using services of California Grazing for this service.
While it is not cheap in comparison to using lawn mowers but it sure is an environment friendly way to get the job done.
Google said: “A herder brings about 200 goats and they spend roughly a week with us at Google, eating the grass and fertilizing at the same time.”
And no, it’s not April 1 today!
