RIM confirms second generation BlackBerry Storm
Research in Motion has confirmed that they are working on a new generation Blackberry Storm.
The company said that they are going to expand their focus on the consumer segment which is increasingly becoming a big market for them.
Company CEO Jim Balsillie said: “We see this very large and untapped consumer market.”
He said that the first generation model was a huge success in terms of sales and adoption despite the reports of software related bugs in the initial units.
Market analysts believe RIM is in a good position to compete with Apple in the consumer segment Smartphone market.
