Phil Schiller to address Apple Worldwide Developer Conference

Apple is scheduled to hold their annual Worldwide Developers Conference in June this year.

The company has announced that the event would be launched with a keynote address on Monday, June 8.

This keynote would not be delivered by Steve Jobs but by a team of Apple executives led by Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing.

The event would be focused on the Apple Mac OS X Leopard and the iPhone 3.0 mobile platform for their mobile phone model Apple iPhone.

Bertrand Serlet, Apple’s senior vice president of Software Engineering spoke about this upcoming event: “Last June, we gave developers an early look at the powerful new technologies that form the underpinnings of Mac OS X Snow Leopard. At WWDC, we will be giving our developers a final Developer Preview release so they can see the incredible progress we’ve made on Snow Leopard and work with us as we move toward its final release.”

The question is… whether Apple would launch a new model of iPhone at this event. And if yes, who would launch it?
