Apple warns about shocks from ear buds
Apple has issued a warning that users of their iPod and iPhone products may experience a “small and quick” shock via their ear buds.
This is due to the build-up of static electricity while using the devices.
Apple has stated on their website that users are likely to experience these minor shocks in extremely dry air conditions.
The company however stated that this problem is not due to their products. Apple said: “This condition is not limited to Apple hardware and static can potentially build up on almost any hardware and could be discharged using any brand of earbuds.”
