Google now has ads in Google Suggest results!

Google Blog has detailed the new changes in their Google Suggest feature.

We have already covered most of them.

The one we missed is the one that is probably the most interesting.

Google is displaying ads in certain cases when the user ends up using Google Suggest.

Google said in a blog post about this new development:

Similar to the navigational suggestions above, sometimes we detect that the most relevant completion for what you’re typing is an ad. When an ad is shown, we mark it with the text “Sponsored Link” and a colored background, as on the results page.

Let’s hope this feature does not end up filling the Google Suggest entries.
