Digital Sky Technologies wants to invest in Facebook
Wall Street Journal has reported that Russian Internet group, Digital Sky Technologies has shown interest in investing in the world’s most popular social networking service Facebook.
The deal offered by Digital Sky puts the value of Facebook at around USD 10 billion.
Facebook declined to comment on the rumours. A company representative said: “Facebook is a private company, so as a matter of policy, we don’t typically share details about our financial plans or comment on rumour and speculation.”
Facebook Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg recently had said that they would consider any investment that can be done on a good term.
Microsoft is already a small investor in Facebook.
Facebook is growing at an impressive pace outgrowing any rival social networking service on the web.
