Maruti Suzuki to launch O2 MUV this year

Maruti Suzuki to launch a new MUV model by October this year
Maruti Omni is a formality of a product if we consider it as a multi-utility-vehicle.
Maruti did launch Versa in this segment but the car was not a success for them.
Market sources now say that Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch a new MUV model later this year.
This model would be based on their Versa model and is codenamed O2.
Maruti has been very aggressive with their product launches in the recent times. They have launched two brand new compact cars A-Star and Ritz in the recent months.

In MUV Segment, I think Mahindra Xylo is the best and is going to remain the best.

I had purchased Maruti Versa in 2002. I am still driving it almost 1,60,000 Kms. The pick up is still good. Desperatly waiting for vehicle more refined than versa. Please inform as soon as possible

Maruti has always got good products out of their kitty. I will be eagerly waiting for O2. The after sale service of this brand cannot be matched with any other brand. Kuddos..

I am driving Maruti vehicles for last 20 years and i find them to be BEST VALUE for money vehicles. I have one omni which is working with me for last 10years without giving any scope for complaints except that it doesnt come with comforts like aircon, power steering and power windows. I will be eagerly wating for this new 02 which hopefully come with all these features along with some more safety features atleast as option.

I have Maruti Omni & driving this from last 3 years. If Maruti is launching New Version of MUV then it should be with 1) A.C. fitting 2) Power sterring 3) Sitting arrangement must be more than 5 4) Safety. If any body have photograph or any more information of this O2 please send me on sachinssd@rediffmail.com

I am driving an Omni for the last 9 years and till date I have not come across any instance of breakdown or other problems. I would like to upgrade to a more improved MUV. Eagerly awaiting for the launch in October 2009. Pictures of new model O2 may be posted
