Symantec: 90% of email is spam now
Security Company Symantec has revealed in a report that as much as 90% of emails on corporate networks were spam last month.
This is an increase of around 5% compared to the previous month.
This is however not a surprising finding as spam could easily count for between 85-95% emails on networks.
The report further said that around 58 percent of spam is now originated from the botnet networks.
In fact, Donbot alone is responsible for 18.2 percent of all spam.
