BlackBerry Storm 4.7.0.148 coming to Verizon customers
Verizon Wireless has confirmed that a firmware upgrade is coming up for the owners of Blackberry Storm smartphone on their network.
Blackberry Storm users would be able to get their hands on the updated firmware from tomorrow.
The company spoke about this firmware update: “The OS version 4.7.0.148 is a general maintenance release that improves the overall user experience. Customers will be able to get the update via the Web at www.blackberry.com/update beginning Sunday May 31 from 3pm Eastern Time.”
Market sources say that this update would bring major stability fixes to the device which has been reported to be pretty buggy with the original firmware editions.
