Nokia: No longer cool for teenagers
Social networking service Habbo Hotel conducted a survey and found out that teenagers of today do not find Nokia a cool enough brand for a mobile phone.
The survey had views of around 112,000 teenagers in 30 countries.
Just around 21% of them said that Nokia was their favourite mobile brand. This number is down from 29% from last year. They still managed to top the charts.
However, the falling numbers mean that they might not take the top spot in the coming years.
The survey however excluded teenagers from markets like China and India. Both India and China market are dominated by Nokia.
Sony Ericsson came second with 18% votes. Their number is also down from 21% last year.
Samsung, LG and Apple came next overtaking Motorola which is now in sixth spot. It was third last year.
Nokia might be the world’s largest mobile phone maker but they are not considered cool by any standards. Apple, Palm and Research in Motion are offering some of the hottest devices in the market these days.

“but they are not considered cool by any standards.”
They are still considered cooler by more teenagers than the other brands. Is no one cool then?

So, what this article is saying is that Nokia are still cooler than everyone else and more cool than Apple, RIM and Motorola combined?
I love headlines like these. What spin!
