Windows 7 very capable of hurting Apple Mac sales
Microsoft has practically shocked everybody by developing Windows 7 so quickly that they are now in a position to launch it before Mac OS X Snow Leopard.
Market analysts believe that this could further strengthen Microsoft’s position in the market.
Windows Vista has become somewhat of a nightmare for the company even though sales are good. The bad reputation of Vista requires them to move on to Windows 7 as quickly as possible.
Microsoft has already impressed their critics with two successful test edition launches. Both beta and release candidate editions were pretty stable and feature rich.
Microsoft is now scheduled to launch Windows 7 in October this year just before the start of the holiday season.
The timing is perfect and Microsoft could take away some of the market share Apple has gained in the recent times with the launch of Windows 7.
