Palm Pre coming this Saturday
Palm is all set to launch their Pre Smartphone later this week.
Palm Pre has been one of the most awaited mobile devices of this year. Even more than the rumored Apple iPhone update.
Palm Pre is a brand new device powered by a brand new mobile platform named Palm webOS.
It would go on sale for around USD 200 after a mail-in rebate from Sprint Nextel.
One of the highlights of Pre is that it has multi-tasking. This ability has been missing from the iPhone since launch. Apple is likely to add support for this through the upcoming iPhone 3.0 update.
Palm Pre is totally web enabled and has integration with several online services. It has inbuilt search for Twitter and it can download your friend’s data from Facebook and fill it in your Pre’s address book.
A lot has been said about the Pre vs. iPhone. The next few days are going to be exciting with Pre coming out for sure and Apple said to be preparing the launch of the 3rd generation iPhone.
