TapStick brings old functionality back to Apple iPod Shuffle

The new iPod Shuffle though compact and cool lacks controls on the player itself which makes it a bit inconvenient for old fashioned users.

TapStick is one new accessory that would soon be available on sale that would resolve most of those issues.

TapStick is essentially a casing with controls on it. You can slide your iPod Shuffle into this casing and you fix most of the issues with the new Shuffle.

TapStick provides on device controls for volume and playback controls which are moved to the Apple headphones designed for use with the Shuffle.

Another major advantage is that the attachment features its own jack for connecting regular third party headphones.

In addition, it would also ship with a 3-foot audio cable for connecting the device to a car audio system.

It would retail for USD 30.
