TomTom announces turn-by-turn navigation for the iPhone
Apple iPhone has GPS capabilities since some time now. However, the company did not allow turn-by-turn navigation feature on the device till now.
It’s all changed now. Apple got TomTom to show their new application for the iPhone at the WWDC 2009 keynote.
The company would be providing an accessory kit for the iPhone for the cars to bring full GPS functionality to the popular smartphone model.
This is good news for the iPhone fans as they would no longer be required to maintain a separate GPS unit for their cars.
Apple iPhone would essentially become the GPS navigator for them!
