Apple iPhone 3G 8GB is now just USD 99
One of the cool announcements made today by Apple is that they would continue to offer the older generation Apple iPhone 3G in the US market.
This model would be available in only one capacity: 8GB.
And with this the company has finally managed to meet the critical price point of USD 99.
It might be the older iPhone but it is still very capable. It would be more than sufficient for most mobile users in the US market.
They would still be able to use the iPhone 3.0 software. But the phone remains locked to AT&T and would come with a 2 year long contract.
Apple has also launched the brand new iPhone model. This new generation of iPhone has been named Apple iPhone 3G S where S stands for speed.
Apple iPhone 3G S is priced at USD 199 for 16GB edition and USD 299 for 32GB model.
