Honda Jazz in India for Rs. 7 lakhs!

Honda India has launched their much awaited hatchback model Honda Jazz in the Indian market.

And the car comes with a shocker of a price tag.

Are you going to pay Rs. 7 lakhs for a Honda branded hatchback? That too for the cheaper variant?

The more expensive variant costs a cool Rs. 7.33 lakhs.

For this money, you can buy a pretty high-end sedan in the Indian market. You can also buy 2 decent legal hatchbacks.

Masahiro Takedagawa, president and chief executive of Honda Siel Cars India spoke at the launch event: “With this Jazz, we are now entering a larger portion of the market.”

The problem is that the company is not going to sell a lot of Jazz in the Indian market. The pricing is pretty close to their sedan model Honda City.

If we were to given the option, we would pick up Honda City over Honda Jazz ANYDAY!
