Apple confirms the return of Steve Jobs

Apple has confirmed that their CEO Steve Jobs would return to the company by the end of the current month.

Jobs had been on a medical leave for around six months now. His comeback is as per the original schedule.

Market analysts were hoping that Jobs would make an appearance at the recent Apple media event where they launched the new iPhone 3G S.

But it was not to be.

However, Phil Schiller did confirm that Jobs is scheduled to join Apple by the end of June.

He had this to say: “These products have been in development for a while, so of course Steve has been very involved in them all along. You could say that Steve has stayed on top of some of the key strategic things at Apple throughout [the absence].”
