China take steps to control mobile sms spam
Chinese media has announced that the government has taken some steps to control mobile SMS spam problem in the country.
They are planning to put a limit on number of SMS messages a number can send.
China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom have all signed on an agreement to control SMS Spam problem in the country.
Thankfully, the limits are pretty generous and they should not affect genuine users.
Here are the limits:
Regular days:
200 messages per hour
1,000 per day
Holidays:
500 messages per hour
2,000 per day
